Stone Lotus

Rosette-forming succulent, commonly referred to as a "Stone Lotus" plant due to its shape, and is very likely an Echeveria or a related hybrid like Graptopetalum or Graptosedum. Care:
Light:
Provide ample bright, indirect light, ideally at least 4-6 hours daily. Echeverias thrive in full sun but may need protection from intense afternoon sun to prevent sunburn, especially if newly introduced to brighter conditions. If leaves become elongated or stretched, it's a sign the plant needs more light.
Water:
Water thoroughly only when the soil has completely dried out, typically every week or two during the growing season (spring/summer) and less frequently in winter. Overwatering is a common issue and can lead to root rot, so ensure excellent drainage.
Soil:
Use a well-draining cactus and succulent mix, and consider using an unglazed pot with drainage holes to help manage moisture levels.
Pruning:
Remove any dead or shriveled lower leaves, as this is a natural part of the plant's life cycle and helps prevent pests.
Propagation:
These succulents are easily propagated from leaf or stem cuttings, or by separating offsets (pups) that the plant naturally produces. Allow cuttings to callous for a few days before planting.
It naturally grows a taller stem over time, and the lower leaves may shrivel and fall off as a normal part of the plant's life cycle (reabsorption), which is not usually a cause for concern unless widespread or accompanied by other issues like mushy leaves.
