Sunrise Rose

Not actually a rose, Lantana camara Landmark™ Rose Sunrise has bright, hot pink-rose blooms with shades of sunny yellow and sometimes orange centers, clustered in vibrant cymes that change colors throughout the season. They bloom profusely from late spring through fall.

Size:
Height: 15-20"
Spread: 18-24"
Toxic:
All parts of the Lantana plant are toxic to pets and children, with the berries being the most poisonous.
Care:
Light:
Thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal flowering.
Water:
Drought-tolerant once established but benefits from regular watering, especially during dry spells and in containers.
Soil:
Adapts well to average, dry, and well-drained soils, tolerating a wide range of soil conditions, including some environmental salt.
Hardiness:
Perennial in USDA Hardiness Zones 9-11 (potentially 8) but often grown as an annual in colder regions where winter temperatures drop below freezing.
Pruning:
Low-maintenance, requiring only occasional pruning to remove dead or diseased branches and to encourage denser growth and more flowers. Deadheading (removing spent blooms) can promote continuous flowering.

Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators, and resists deer.

Ideal for mass plantings, borders, containers, hanging baskets, and as a groundcover. Its vigorous growth makes it suitable for quickly filling spaces. It is also tolerant of urban pollution.
