Requires abundant bright, direct light to maintain vibrant color and compact form. Place it near a south-facing window or under a grow light if grown indoors.

Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings to prevent rot. Water deeply when you do water, allowing excess water to drain out, then do not water again until the soil is thoroughly dry.

These succulents are generally frost-tender and need protection from freezing temperatures. If temperatures drop below 45°F (7°C), bring them indoors or provide frost protection.

Use a well-draining cactus and succulent mix, ideally with a high percentage of gritty, mineral content like pumice, perlite, or coarse sand.
