Provide bright, indirect light, ideally from a south or west-facing window. While they can handle some direct morning sun, protect them from intense afternoon sun to prevent sunburn on the leaves.

Water thoroughly when the soil is mostly dry, but ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot. Reduce watering significantly in the fall and winter when the plant may go dormant.

Crassula thrives in average room temperatures (65-75°F or 18-24°C) and can tolerate slightly cooler night temperatures. Protect them from frost, as temperatures below 50°F can be damaging.

Use a well-draining potting mix, ideally one formulated for succulents or cacti. Adding perlite or pumice to regular potting soil can improve drainage.

Fertilize sparingly, if at all, during the active growing season (spring and summer) using a diluted succulent fertilizer. Avoid fertilizing during dormancy.
